Interview with The Master of Funk, Bootsy Collins
I had the pleasure to sit down with Cincinnati's own Bootsy Collins and talk with him about his numerous musical projects and his restaurant/music museum that he has started with Jeff Ruby. Some of his notable projects he is involved in include a Fallen Soldiers memorial cd that includes Charlie Daniels and George Duke that will help raise funds for a Fallen Soldiers memorial to built here in Cincinnati. Bootsy is also heavily involved in bringing national attention to the history and influence that King Records has had on music.

Interview with Erika Wennerstrom from The Heartless Bastards
Even though the Heartless Bastards are now based in Austin, they will always be a Cincinnati band. They have come a long way from playing that first gig at The Comet
here in Cincinnati to touring with The Black Keys, getting a very positive review in
SPIN Magazine, and playing on David Letterman on Feb 10. Erika Wennerstrom was kind
enough to speak with me about the band and about their new album "The Mountain" which
was just released on Feb 3rd. They will also be having a cd release show on 3/25/09 at The Madison Theater in Covington, KY.
